In the first year since conception, Marisa P. Clark's designs have been presented at Western Canada, Vancouver International, Los Angeles and Paris Fashion Weeks.
After her first, 8-piece collection debuted at Western Canada Fashion Week in March 2017, Marisa P. Clark was pegged as one of the main up-and-coming Canadian designers to watch. In less than a year since her runway debut, in her home province, Alberta, Marisa's designs were shown at Vancouver Intl. Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week. In 2018, her Spring/Summer Collection will launch and her Fall/Winter collection debuted at this past Paris Fashion Week.
This homegrown Calgarian still finds it astonishing to believe that her career has grown as quickly as it has. "I felt discouraged by the fact I was from Calgary, a relatively small town with little acknowledgment from the international fashion community," she says about her early beginnings as a fashion designer, "it seemed like I needed to live in New York City or London if I wanted to have a chance at breaking into the industry." Following this sentiment, Marisa broke the conventional path of many of her peers, and went to the London College of Fashion to study fashion design and business, knowing that she ultimately wanted to start her own clothing line. Coming from a background of political science and economic policy, this was a surprise to many of her family members, but she entered this creative pursuit with clear goals set in mind, and has not looked back since.

About Rebecca Graham

Marisa first met Rebecca at the University of Victoria where they studied together and developed their friendship. After graduating, they have continued to support each other, both personally and professionally. Rebecca joined the backstage team at Vancouver Fashion Week (pictured here), beginning their working relationship.
Rebecca currently runs the Marisa P. Clark Designs Corp. team's sales and marketing channels. This includes everything from contacting wholesale buyers to writing product descriptions and blog posts.
